✦ LIGHTING DESIGN

This building is located in the new city center, where cars frequently pass by at high speeds.
As a building’s exterior illumination can easily impede drivers’ visions during nighttime, certain conditions had to be met for the illumination design.
This is why we used colored lighting on the jadeite spectrum with warm white (4000K) lighting.
The building has numerous curves, so we had to conceal the 4000K/LED/DMX lighting so as to not affect the well-being of building occupants
while maintaining a naturalistic appearance on the outside.
The façade of the building has two alternating linear configurations.
We, therefore, used two types of strip lighting with different illumination distribution curves.
We used SMD3528/0.08W/60PCS/24V for the longer strips and 3.2W/40/110°/4000K/DMX for the shorter strips
to control the amount of illumination and diffusion.
The light of the SMD0.08W/4000K strip diffuses and reflects off the light troughs they are installed in,
while the light of the 3.2W/40/110°/4000K/DMX strips casts on the pale green coated glass, displaying two different colors.
On the right side of the building’s façade,
15W/30°/4000K/LED projection lamps were installed on every floor
to highlight parts of the building outline and increase the visual balance of the illumination.

For the overhang on the first floor,
we installed a mix of green and white 3.2W/40°/110° LED lighting in the light troughs.
This design is identical to the roof design and creates a uniform and symmetrical visual effect at the top and bottom.
